World Wide Web Consortium or W3C is the recognized standards organization for the world wide web. W3C Validation is the process of verifying the codes you write and the websites you build in order to detect syntax and grammar errors. Your site needs to be W3C valid so that it can function properly across different browsers. Otherwise, an erroneous website will undergo a number of issues, such as the inability of a proper display, compatibility, and speed, among others.
