UX and UI designs are of paramount importance to an IT product and need to work parallelly. UX refers to user experience design. It focuses on enhancing user satisfaction by designing the entire user experience. In order to recognize and address the real user problems, UX not only requires smooth communication skills and a strong comprehension of psychology, sociology, and design but also tactical skills, comprising concept iteration, user research, prototyping and usability testing. On the other hand, UI design stands for user interface design. UI focuses on choosing the apt interface elements, such as text fields, buttons, check boxes and drop-down lists, to enhance the tangibility of the interfaces that users can find simple to understand and use.
