While MEAN stack uses AngularJS, an Extension of Javascript, LAMP stack uses languages like Perl, PHP and Python. MEAN stack uses ExpressJS which is a Node.js web application framework. On the other hand, LAMP uses Apache as its web server. Apache can host HTTP files. MySQL is used for databases. Dynamic pages can be developed using PHP or Python or Perl.
